It’s the first Wednesday of the month, which means it’s time for another Insecure Writer’s Support Group post! #IWSG is the brainchild of Writing Ninja Master Alex J. Cavanaugh. One of the best things about being a writer is the community. I don’t know if I would have gotten to this point if not for all of you. You wonderful, talented, beautiful, awesome people. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe you.
I’ve written recently about issues with mushy brains and a busy life. I’ve finally gotten myself back to feeling in top form with the help of all of your support. Again, there aren’t enough adjectives!
That’s the thing though, isn’t it? There are amazing people out there, and if you only reach out, you will find that all or most of those people have been where you are. If you come across one of the bad ones, one of the few that will troll you, realize they don’t count. What they say doesn’t matter. It’s the community of support (like #IWSG) that has your best interests at heart. The other guys are either jealous, angry for a supposed personal affront, or just plain crazy – and not the good kind of crazy that comes from being a writer.
